Forget Rifts, Give Me Mutant Chronicles!

Just look at the great gonzo, British grotty art!
How did I miss this gem back in the day?
Apparently getting a re-edition.
I am so glad io9 has RPG news.

  1. I still own the original core book, but it also still stands as one of my Great Unplayed Games. Can't wait for the new edition!

    1. Y'know David, when I have free time again I'm thinking of starting a Bucketeers League on G plus/Constantcon, where we just play all those unplayed games, one a month. Dust off those old books.

    2. Love the idea of a Bucketeers League. I had a pretty good run of that last year--finally got to run a Deadlands campaign after 15 years of wanting to, and I also ran a short but satisfying GURPS Riverworld campaign after owning that book for 20+ years.

    3. Just hope I pass my defense in November and I am a free man again so that I can game and relax a tad...

  2. I loves-loves-loves me some Mutant Chronicles...did a little one-page, micro-game a while back called Chronicles of Mutation that focuses on a small part of the setting, but always felt this one was ripe for conversion to BX/LL. Knowing they're re-issuing it means one less project to keep in the hopper!
    ; )

Oh, yeah: here's the link for the download (different system, though):
