Hello!
Let's see...
In January we got turfed out and were living in Air BNBs. Sonny was melting down and I was freaking out.
In February, I got us an apartment in a nice corner of Vancouver. I also got a job as literature teacher at a top French school. Also got sonny ADHD meds and back to school after a year dropped out.
We dodged a bullet and are enjoying life again.
Just enjoying a paid spring vacation and time with my boy.
Hope to get back to writing and gaming soon.
Thanks for reading and sending positive vibes.
Great news! I'm glad you guys are in a good place now.
ReplyDeleteCheers Dennis! Still a bit of digging out left to do but far better than January.
DeleteHappy to hear things are getting better.
ReplyDeleteMe too! Thanks for always reading.
DeleteGood news. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteWill do, but a little bit more wary of people who want to work with me now.
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI am late to the party, even though I’ve been following the Stormbringer Redux project for ages. I am glad you and your son are in a better place.
Cheers! Arioch's blessing be upon you (HA)!
DeleteThank you for the kind blessing.
ReplyDeleteIf you have any interest, my email is wintercurrant@outlook.com and I’d love to throw a few Stormbringer ideas at you.
Oh, I ought to toss a tease to you with…hm… why Stormbringer ought to limit player number to three players?
Incorporating the best ideas from Moorcockian rpgs largely unknown.
Moorcock didn’t care what the rpg mechanics were as long as he got paid. If Moorcock could care less are the fans missing something?
Do you have free will?
Do any of us have free will? Isn't that Elric's question? I understand about limiting the number of players to three (Champion, Companion, and Consort), and the evocative mechanics this unlocks (Sacrifice & Support). But Elric also travelled with unnamed and unwashed commoners, much like the grogs in Ars Magica.
DeleteAlso, Moorcock has stated he didn't receive much money at all for licensing. He is on record saying it was cross pollination and just what was done back then in the 70's. Considering his health issues and living in Texas, I hope he is getting paid for any new games.
